No real benefit except to raise awareness of the other city. I thought they just drew a line through the earth to see where it came out.

the best example 4 a twin city is hyderabad and secunderabad..u know how r they named as twin....thers a small bund in between these cities tht the only difference....other side of the bund is hyderabad....and the other side is secunderabad.
