Lifegaurd at golf and country club in the Twin Cities suburban area or at a local public pool?
I live in the Northwestern suburbs of the Twin Cities and am starting to apply for a job as a lifeguard this summer. One thing that I have not yet decided is whether I should try to get a job at the local community center pool or at a nearby golf and country club. Which would have nicer visitors? which would pay more? which would have better staff treatment and benefits? Which would probably have a nicer facility? Thanks!

- Hi Ben, Just to give you my advice. Although I don't live in the U.S; I come from Scotland in the United Kingdom. I have friends who have been lifeguards and I have one who has worked in a golf and country club. The feedback I have got from them in the past, makes me think that the Golf and Country club.option would be the better of the two. Both are hard work, but the tips and the higher potential nicer visitors would sway me personally towards the golf and country club option. Hope this helps, tell me how you get on how. Regards, Steve Dailly
